Hi, I’m Tracy Benjamin. I’m an artist, writer, food photographer, and the creator of Shutterbean and The Handwriting Club. I’ve been documenting my life through photos, handwriting, and reflection since 2007. I’ve used my Currently Workbook as a way to mark time, process change, and create a meaningful yearly ritual of checking in with myself.
As a mom, a business owner, and someone who’s navigated grief and everyday chaos, I needed a simple, repeatable way to pause, reflect, and set intentions without pressure. This yearly ritual became a steady touchstone, a place to close one year and open the next with clarity and care.
In this workshop, I’m sharing how I use my Currently Workbook to say goodbye to the year behind me, choose a word for the year ahead, and build gentle daily, weekly, and monthly check-ins. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, creative way to step into the new year, I’d love to guide you through a ritual you can return to again and again.

New Year Rituals
We’ll slow things down and give 2025 a proper send-off instead of rushing straight into the next thing. Think simple rituals that help you reflect, reset, and make space for what’s ready to arrive.
Intention Setting:
This is where we dream gently and choose direction without pressure. You’ll learn how to pick a word for the year and set intentions that feel encouraging, flexible, and actually fun to return to.
WRITING EXERCISES:
We’ll use guided writing prompts to help your thoughts land on the page and bring clarity. Writing things down gives your ideas a place to live so you can return to them throughout the year.
MAGIC
The real magic happens when you slow down and notice what’s already there. When ritual, intention, and writing come together, small shifts add up and the year starts to feel more alive.
